Tessa Hille is a Registered Dietitian based in Cape Town with over eight years of experience in private practice. She is part of The Health Collective, where she oversees the nutritional management of patients referred for dietary intervention and plays an integral role within the multidisciplinary team.
Tessa is passionate about helping individuals navigate the confusing world of nutrition by providing evidence based education, practical guidance and personalised support. Her particular interest in chronic pain management focuses on optimizing nutritional status, identifying and addressing nutrient deficiencies and supporting gut microbiome health as part of the comprehensive approach to pain management and overall wellbeing.
In addition to chronic pain, Tessa has a special interest in women’s health, healthy weight management and gastrointestinal disorders. She is known for her person-centred approach, working closely with individuals to motivate, empower and support lasting lifestyle changes.
Tessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Human Physiology and Biochemistry, as well as a Medical Honours in Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree both obtained from the University of Cape Town. Her strong scientific background fuels her fascination with the mechanisms underlying health and disease, and she enjoys translating complex concepts into practical, understandable information.
