Effects of Stress and Relaxation on Central Pain Modulation in Chronic Whiplash and Fibromyalgia Patients

Despite the compelling evidence demonstrating the significant role of impaired central pain modulation in contributing to persistent pain among patients with chronic whiplash-associated disorders (WAD) and fibromyalgia (FM), extensive research remains lacking in investigating the influence of stress and relaxation on central pain modulation in these individuals.
