Apply Now for the IASP Award for Excellence in Pain Research and Management in Developing Countries
This award recognizes excellence in pain research, clinical practice, or policy challenges in the developing world.
It is presented to an individual or to a team that has achieved an outstanding level of excellence in programs of either (1) basic-science research in pain or pain management, OR (2) clinical research or practice and/or policy changes in pain management in the developing world.
Eligibility: Nominees/applicants must be IASP members based in a low-income country (as defined by the World Bank)

Award winners will receive: 
  • Complimentary registration to attend the IASP 2020 World Congress
  • Travel grant of up to USD 10,000
  • Complimentary 2-year IASP membership
  • 3 books from IASP Press

All applications and nominations are due by 23:59 on 23 October 2019 (convert to your local time).
About IASP 2020 World Congress Awards
IASP honours individuals and groups from around the world with awards ranging from USD 2,500 to USD 10,000 to recognize scholarship and excellence in the field of pain.

All Congress awards include complimentary registration and travel expenses to attend the IASP World Congress, in addition to formal recognition on stage in Amsterdam.
