In these interesting and challenging times, we at PainSA have had to reinvent the way we can educate and spread knowledge within our community of clinicians passionate about making a difference in the field of pain management.
We are excited to announce that we are hosting the 2021 PainSA congress via a virtual platform. We have strived to keep many of the aspects of congress that allow networking as well as the gain of knowledge in the latest research within the field of pain management.

While we may not be able to meet face to face the congress will definitely, provide an opportunity to meet, engage in discussion and debate on a wide range of topics. We kept the focus on the role of the brain in pain, as this is a vital part of understanding pain and the clinical management thereof. We also included topics on telemedicine and long COVID to ensure we can stay relevant in our current treatment context.
The annual PainSA congress is a unique opportunity to interact and learn from health care professionals from many different fields and this year will be no different. I encourage you to submit scientific abstracts for the poster session so that you can share your research and knowledge with all attendees.
We look forward to welcoming you to the virtual congress in September 2021 for a unique networking and learning opportunity that will help you understand the role of the brain in pain and much more.
